Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez met again after 18 years their engagement and got married on Saturday in Las Vegas.
The couple, who dated and became engaged in the early 2000s before breaking up and spending 17 years apart, rekindled their relationship last year.
In 2002, Lopez and Affleck first crossed paths on the production of "Gigli."
By November 2002, the two were engaged, but postponed their wedding in September 2003 citing "the excessive media attention" surrounding their wedding.
They never made it down the aisle and officially called off their engagement in January 2004.
The pair would go on to date, and marry, other celebrities during the nearly two-decade separation. d
Lopez married singer Marc Anthony in 2004 and Affleck married actor Jennifer Garner in 2005.
Both marriages eventually ended, and Lopez became engaged to former New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez in 2019 while Affleck dated actor Ana de Armas. Both of those relationships ended in 2021.
Nearly two decades after Gigli – and 18 years after their breakup – reunited.
On April 8, Lopez announced she and Affleck were, once again, engaged and got married this weekend.
"It was the best possible wedding we could have imagined," the pair said. "One we dreamed of long ago and one made real."
